Former United States Attorneys General Bill Barr and Michael Mukasey cited the work of Civitas in a brief filed at the Supreme Court. The brief appeared in the case of Chevron v. Plaquemines Parish, a closely-watched case with major implications on current energy policy and government contracting of all kinds. The former attorneys general point to an article that Civitas fellow Michael Toth wrote in March describing how trial attorneys are targeting the energy industry in this case.
