As next year marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this academic year we begin a series of conversations and celebrations that honor the ideas on which our nation was founded. We are pleased to host Lawrence W. (“Larry”) Reed to present remarks on “Learning the Lessons of Ancient Rome,” observations on the reasons for the rise and fall of one of history’s greatest civilizations, and their relevance for our time.
